Multiplayer
Click Multiplayer in the main menu to bring up the multiplayer menu. This lists servers, on multiple tabs if necessary, and shows their ping, players, name, map, mode, port, etc. It is fairly self explanatory. There is an option to update the list from the master server as well, and an options menu to choose filters and how to sort servers. To connect to a server, just click on it.

When you are connected, you will notice the main menu has new options to change teams, toggle spectator, vote for a game mode and map, and a menu for claiming/relinquishing master status. There is also an option to disconnect and use the in-game IRC chat feature to talk to people on any IRC channel.

You can press Y to chat to teammates or T to chat with everybody. There are also radio commands on C for your team only and V for everybody. Your teammates will always be under your radar on the right side of the screen.

Below are the commands enabled by default on most XRRS installations. Many of these commands can be disabled or modified by administrators so they may not all be available on each server. Several commands accept a cn argument. This is a client number which specifies a player on the server. Client numbers can be retrieved from the player scoreboard ([Tab]) after issuing the following command:

Clients can use custom server commands by prefixing messages with a # character.

/showclientnum 1

Public Commands

help - Display information about a command.

names cn - List names used by a client.

nextmap - Show the name of the next map.

stats cn - Display current game statistics for a client.

translate message source_language destination_language - translate a message from source_language to destination_language.

pm cn - Send a private message to another player

Account Commands

register - Create a server account using specified email and password.

login - Login to server account using specified email and password.

linkname - Tie currently used name with the account you are currently logged in to.

Master Commands

ban cn - Ban a client from the server.

bannick - Ban a name from the server.

clanwar map modename -Start a clanwar on map with mode.

givemaster cn - Give master privilege to a client.

insertban ip length reason - Ban ip from the server.

minsleft time -Set the minutes left in the current game.

mute cn - Mute a client.

mutespectators - Mute all spectators.

pause - Pause the game.

resume - Resume the game.

servermsg message -Broadcast message to server.

unmute - Unmute a client.

unmutespectators - Unmute all spectators.

Admin Commands

reload - Reload all the server plugins.

resize size - Set maximum number of players to size.

giveadmin cn - Give admin privilege to a client.

userpriv cn action mode -Modify the permissions of a logged in client. Action can be add/delete. Mode can be master/admin.

ircbot enable/disable - Enable or disable the Irc Bot.

pinglimiter enable/disable - Enable or disable the ping limiter plugin (Kick for lagging).
